Fun and learning for all ages
Age Concern events in Herefordshire have seen older people and teenagers learning and having fun together.
Weekly events have brought the generations together to teach older people about emailing and mobile phones.
It’s not all work though. Games have proven especially popular as octogenarians take a swing with a virtual tennis racket alongside teenagers.
Instead of operating a complex system of buttons, the Nintendo Wii allows people to play games as they would in real life – swinging an invisible golf club or virtual bowling.
The events provide a great opportunity for all generations to get together and enjoy one another’s company.
