Department for Work and Pensions: The Department for
Work and Pensions is responsible for a range of benefits and services
for pensioners, people of working age and families.

Department for Social Development Northern Ireland: If you live in Northern Ireland visit the Department for Social Development website
Direct payment: State Pensions and benefits are paid straight into the account you choose. For more information about direct payment, call The Pension Service on 0845 6060265. If your circumstances change, for instance if you change your address, contact the office that pays your pension or benefits.
Disability Living Allowance: If you
are under the age of 65 with a disability and you need help looking after
yourself, you may claim for this allowance. If you are 65 or over, you
need to claim for Attendance Allowance instead.

Disability rights and services: The Government has
produced 'A Practical Guide for Disabled People or Carers'. This could
be useful for anyone who has a disability or anyone who looks after a
disabled relative or friend. For your free copy of the guide, you can
